It's melodrama time! The year is 1944, and local Long Beach heroes Rod, Gino, Dixie, Tricia, and Officer Frenchy are called to action to save The Pike from the dastardly Ian Sidious once again. This time Ian has teamed up with The Big Three (Oil, Commerce, and Industry) who are threatening to sink Long Beach. This family-friendly Garage Theatre holiday classic is part 3 of a five-part series of plays that center on the Long Beach Pike and the local heroes who save it from oblivion. Don’t worry, you don’t need to have seen the previous plays to enjoy this one.
Fun for kids and kids at heart, audience members are encouraged to yell, cheer, boo, draw on the walls with chalk, and throw plushy tomatoes. Plus everyone receives their choice of free ice cream or non-dairy frozen treats during intermission. Come join the fun!
