Flashes of Light at Sierra Madre Playhouse

Flashes of Light is a new musical that tells the star-crossed story of inventor Nikola Tesla and his muse, Electra, the goddess of storm clouds. Set in late 1800s New York City during the industrial revolution, the narrative explores Tesla's groundbreaking inventions and his rivalry with Thomas Edison amid the “War of the Currents.” Directed by Jon Lawrence Rivera, the production features Devyn Rush as Electra and Thomas Winter as Nikola Tesla, complemented by a cast that includes Sydney Endicott and Guy Noland. The musical combines heartfelt lyrics and a blend of jazz, pop, and rock to bring this intertwining tale of love and innovation to life.
