CVRep begins its 2025-2026 Season with the Regional Premiere of DEAR EVAN HANSEN, winner of six Tony• Awards, including Best Musical, the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, and an Olivier Award for Best Musical. DEAR EVAN HANSEN is a deeply personal and tremendously moving story about a socially anxious high school senior who fabricate a friendship with a deceased classmate in order to create a world for himself in which he ‘is someone’ and counts for somethng. As he becomes entangled in his web of lies, Hansen’s feeling of isolation grows worse. Eventually, he is forced to face the consequences of his actions and lies. This brilliant contemporary musical will be experienced in a new and intimate way on the CVRep stage.
