About This Performance
Veteran singer/songwriter Arlo Guthrie’s career exploded in 1967 with Alice’s Restaurant, whose title song helped foster a new commitment to social awareness and activism. Celebrating a half-century since that album, Guthrie continues to walk to his own beat as he relives those classic songs and shares anecdotes from a life campaigning for social justice.
