THE HOUSE ALWAYS WINS Will Present World Premiere at Hollywood Fringe Festival
Carli Wright directs and stars in the folksy production at the Hobgoblin Playhouse.
Carli Wright will present a world-premiere original musical called The House Always Wins for the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival at the Hobgoblin Playhouse.
Directed by the writer, producer, and star of this piece, this folksy play features a musically inclined ghost tasked with haunting her childhood home by The House, an echo of her ancestral line revived to inform our hero of her fate as the building's new specter. Much like any home, not all visitors are welcome, and some may meet untimely fates over the show's hour. However, a glimmer of hope arrives when a certain guest makes quite the impression on our cursed inhabitant that could really change her tune...perhaps breaking the curse to end the cycle once and for all. Pulling inspiration from horror, rom-coms, and musicals, The House Always Wins is a spooky romp with a song in its heart and a little something for everyone.
Stage management and lighting design is provided by The StageCrafts. The talented cast includes Robert Angell, Travis Lincoln Cox, Gregg Ellson, Khoi Le, Catherine Ivy Mack, Andrew Puente, Mia Ruhman and Carli Wright.
