Photo Flash: Vegas Divas & COP 4 CAUSES Partner for 'Golden Ticket' Event
Hockey Hall of Famer Luc Robitaille and his wife artist/author Stacia were honored on Friday at the COP 4 CAUSES "Golden Ticket" event for their years dedication to foster youth.
Among those in attendance at The Avalon Theatre in Hollywood were Pauley Perrette, Doris Roberts, Dawn Wells, Kate Linder, Tyrone Power, Jr., Carla Collins, Sean McNabb, Judy Tenuta, Mary Jo Catlett, Jack Betts, Patricia Morison, Erin Murphy, Moosie Drier, Downtown Julie Brown, Michael Mahoney, LA County Fire Chief, Daryl Osby and two to TV's most famous CHiPs, Erik Estrada and Larry Wilcox, as well as the evenings hostess, 17 time EMMY winner and FOX 11 LA anchor Christine Devine. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Cops 4 Causes "Golden Ticket" initiative. President Founder and LA County Deputy Sheriff, Christopher Landavazo, said. "This program is committed to fostering a network of support for at-risk-youth, including Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) by providing life-changing connections with police, fire and military professionals for both groups to attend theatre with theatre organizations like The Pasadena Playhouse. Deputy Landavazo also stated, "The support of the L.A. County Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS) and our theater community in Los Angeles has been amazing. We are looking forward to working together to provide foster youth with enrichment opportunities to experience the magic of live word-class theater." Vegas Legend Frank Marino: Known as the "Queen of the Strip," Frank Marino sizzles in Divas at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas. The 75-minute show features an all-star cast of superstar female impersonators who not only recreate celebrities like Britney Spears, Cher, Diana Ross and Beyoncé. As the show's emcee (Joan Rivers) Marino changes between every act bringing an international whirlwind of couture to the stage with each spectacular entrance. Marino is also an accomplished author, news commentator, columnist and spokesperson. His book "His Majesty, the Queen" was published in 1997. He also appeared in the movie "Miss Congeniality 2: Armed & Fabulous." The evenings entertainment featured "Frank Marino's Divas," direct from their Las Vegas stage, and offered some of the most talented female impersonators representing fan favorite, iconic & legendary performers including Joan Rivers, Diana Ross, Cher, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Pink, Dolly Parton, Katie Perry, Liza Minnelli, Reba McIntyre, Bette Midler, Tina Turner, and more! In 2007, Luc and his wife Stacia founded the non-profit organization Echoes of Hope, with Stacia serving as Board Chair. Echoes of Hope strives to awaken the spirit of hope in the lives of emancipated youth and youth in need by providing the resources, knowledge, skills, love, and support they need to reach their full potential.
