Yächtley Crëw is a seven-piece SoCal Yacht Rock band who burst onto the club scene in 2017 and were later signed by Jimmy Buffett to his Mailboat label before a deal with Earache/Universal Records. The band, known as the Titans of Soft Rock, features drummer Rob Jones, bassist Chaz Ruiz, guitarist Thomas Gardner Jr., backing vocalist Curt Clendenin, saxophonist/flutist Paul Pate, keyboardist Matt Grossman, and new lead vocalist Ian Ward, a Broadway veteran who has appeared in Rock Of Ages, RENT, American Idiot, Footloose, and Jesus Christ Superstar at The Hollywood Bowl alongside Cynthia Erivo and Adam Lambert. The band performs soft rock and Top 40 hits from the late 1970s and early 1980s, and their song Pain Of Losing You, written by Diane Warren, reached the Top 15 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts.
