Part of Hofstra University's 71st Annual Hofstra Shakespeare FestivalDirected by Royston CoppengerIn Shakespeares epic tale of war-crossed lovers, Troilus and Cressida swear they will always be true to one another. But in the seventh year of the siege of Troy, their innocence is tested and exposed to the savage corrupting influence of war, with tragic consequences.Performances: Friday, February 28 and March 6, at 8 p.m.; Saturday, February 29, March 7, at 8 p.m.; Sunday, March 1 and 8, at 2 p.m.Tickets to each performance are $10, $8 adults 65+. Members of the Hofstra community receive two free tickets upon presentation of a current HofstraCard.For tickets and information call the Hofstra Box Office at 516-463-6644, or purchase tickets online at www.hofstratickets.com. If seats are still available on the day of performance, tickets will be sold at the door beginning 90 minutes prior to showtime. (Free tickets for members of the Hofstra community must be picked up at the Box Office. They are not available online.)
