Based on the original trilogy by Aeschylus, The Oresteia tells one of the oldest stories in Western civilization: the tragedy of the House of Atreus. With its vast implications and a cycle of blood vengeance that wheels from one generation to the next until finally, in its last act, the question is laid before us: how can this be brought to an end?
