The Stony Brook Film Festival, presented by Stony Brook Medicine, showcases the best in independent film premieres from around the world over ten exciting days! All films screen July 16-25 in Staller Center’s Main Stage Theatre at Stony Brook University. Experience talented performances by stars of the future and familiar industry faces. All feature films are paired with a short film, and most will include a live Q&A with directors, actors, producers, and cast and crew. Attendees are invited to vote on the films each night, and the winners are announced at the Closing Night Awards Ceremony.
The Stony Brook Film Festival, presented by Stony Brook Medicine, named winners across short and feature categories, including a rare Jury Award for Directing given to DANNY MADDEN for DOWNBEAT.
