THAT MOTOWN BAND Hosted at Bay Street Theater Join us for a powerful afternoon of music and community as That Motown Band takes the stage for a special benefit performance supporting The Butterfly Effect Project. Known for their dynamic vocals, polished musicianship, and authentic Motown sound, That Motown Band brings beloved hits like “Heat Wave,” “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg,” “Baby Love,” “My Girl,” and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” to life with irresistible energy. The concert features soul legend Garfield Fleming, celebrated for his 25 years with The Delfonics and for his internationally acclaimed solo hit “Please Don’t Send Me Away.” His unmistakable voice evokes the timeless sounds of David Ruffin, Bobby Womack, and other legendary artists—creating an unforgettable musical experience. This benefit supports The Butterfly Effect Project, an organization dedicated to creating safe, empowering spaces for youth across Long Island. BEP provides essential programs in arts education, academic support, career readiness, college access and retention, garden clubs, dance teams, and more. Their mission is to ensure that every young person—especially those whose voices are often overlooked—has the confidence, tools, and opportunities to succeed. Learn more at BEPgirls.org. Experience the music you love while helping strengthen a vital community program.
