twenty50, a political thriller by Tony Meneses, explores the complex dynamics of identity and humanity in the year 2050. The play follows prosperous rancher Andres Salazar, portrayed by Orlando Arriaga, as he navigates a challenging congressional race while reconciling personal values with political ambitions, complicated by the arrival of a mysterious stranger. Directed by Rebecca Rivas, the cast also features Alyssa Martinez as Jenny and Isabel Quintero as Irene, bringing to life a narrative that reflects on the relevance of marginalized communities in contemporary society. This production at TheatreSquared runs from October 2 to November 3, 2024.
