The Phantom of the Opera returns to the Reynolds Hall stage at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in this revitalized production presented by Cameron Mackintosh. Based on the celebrated direction of Harold Prince, with musical staging and choreography by Gillian Lynne and Björnson's original design, the production was rapturously received by London critics when it reopened in 2021. Andrew Lloyd Webber's romantic and haunting score includes "The Music of the Night," "All I Ask of You," "Masquerade," and the iconic title song, telling the tale of a disfigured musical genius who haunts the Paris Opera House and falls fiercely in love with a young soprano named Christine. The show has played to over 160 million people across 47 territories and 195 cities in 21 languages.
