Cirque du Soleil's KA Nixes Battle Scene; Resumes Performances 7/16 in Las Vegas

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cirque du Soleil's KA will resume performances tomorrow night, July 16, following the death of 31-year-old acrobat Sarah Guillot-Guyard on June 29. A spokeswoman for the show Renee-Claude Menard said Sunday that KA has cut the final battle scene during which Guillot-Guyard fell 90 feet to her death. The July 16th performance will be dedicated to Guillot-Guyard's memory.
