Renowned comedian and actor Sinbad returns to Las Vegas and The Orleans Showroom tonight and tomorrow, August 16 and 17.

Sinbad is perhaps best known for his acclaimed HBO comedy specials "Brain Damaged," "Afros & Bellbottoms," "Son of a Preacher Man" and "Nuthin' But the Funk." His Comedy Central special "Sinbad: Where U Been?" is based on his return to stand-up comedy and the public spotlight in 2010 after a 12-year hiatus.

He has also starred in movies such as "Jingle All the Way," "Houseguest," and "Necessary Roughness," as well as the television series "A Different World" and his own television series "The Sinbad Show," which aired in 1993 and 1994.

As he often includes music in his comedy specials, Sinbad won the prestigious NAACP Image Award for "Most Outstanding Variety Series/Special" two years consecutively for his HBO concert series "Sinbad's 70's Soul Music Festival" from 1995 through 1999.

He most recently starred in the FX series "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and the NBC reality competition program "Celebrity Apprentice."

Sinbad also authored a self-help book "Sinbad's Guide to Life: (Because I Know Everything)" in 1998 and has established an academic scholarship at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Ga., in honor of his parents Donald and Louise Adkins.
