Frans Lanting, a renowned photographer, and Christine Eckstrom, an accomplished science writer, will present Bay of Life: From Wind to Whales at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Their discussion focuses on the transformation of California's Monterey Bay, once on the brink of ecological crisis, into a vibrant biodiversity hotspot. Through their storytelling and stunning imagery, Lanting and Eckstrom will illustrate how collaborative efforts can lead to the restoration of damaged ecosystems. The event includes a Q&A session, allowing the audience to engage directly with the presenters.
