"Edward Gant's Amazing Feats of Loneliness" by Scottish playwright Anthony Neilson is a marvellously bizarre series of sketches inspired by Victorian travelling shows, a curious miscellany of tricks, jokes and melancholy. From the story of an ugly girl whose pimples burst into pearls to a lovesick man with a cork in his brain, these intriguing tales are accompanied by live music by the Free State Liberation Orchestra Gypsy Band. This co-production between Cardtable Theatre and the LAC features Kansas City actor Chris Roady.
