BILL W. AND DR. BOB by Stephen Bergman and Janet Surrey tells the story of Bill Wilson and Dr. Bob Smith, co-founders of Alcoholics Anonymous. The AA program has been attributed with saving the lives of millions of suffering alcoholics and addicts since its inception in the 1930s and the play tells of the unlikely meeting of these two men and the movement that came about - as well as the inception of the Al-Anon program for the family.
