A comedy-drama written by Amy Herzog, 4000 Miles tells the story of neo-hippie Leo Joseph-Connell, who suffers a major loss while on a cross-country bike trip, and turns up in the middle of the night to see his feisty elderly grandmother, Vera Joseph, in her West Village apartment. Rich with feeling and abundant humor, the relationship dynamic that ensues makes for a wonderful night at the theatre. One of Time Magazine’s “Top 10 Plays and musicals.”
