The production features the theatre company's signature blend of sacred and secular Christmas songs, including beloved carols ("Silent Night," "Go Tell It On The Mountain," "Joy to the World!"), classical favorites ("O Holy Night," "Ave Maria"), popular tunes ("White Christmas," Mel Torme's "The Christmas Song," Barry Manilow's "Because It's Christmas"), songs from treasured holiday television specials ("Christmas Time Is Here" from A Charlie Brown Christmas, "The Peace Carol" and "When The River Meets The Sea" from John Denver and The Muppets: A Christmas Together), and even a few hilarious surprises. Vocalists Lauren Bradshaw, Brad Dawdy, and Lindsey McKee, led by pianist/emcee J. Kent Barnhart, will lighten the hearts and souls of audiences with the wonder and joy of the season through some of its most beautiful music.

Kansas City Repertory Theatre continues its 2018/19 season with the emotionally-intimate Broadway sensation, INDECENT, by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel. Running January 18 through February 10, 2019 at Spencer Theatre, INDECENT is a co-production with Arena Stage and Baltimore Center Stage, and is directed by former KCRep artistic director, Eric Rosen, with choreography by Erika Chong Shuch, and music direction and original music by Alexander Sovronsky.

The MTH Theater has announced casting and additional details for its upcoming production of A SPECTACULAR CHRISTMAS SHOW. The original Revue is Directed by Linda Ade Brand with music directed by Mark Ferrell. The entirely Kansas City based company features David Adams, Samantha Agron, Danielle Barger, Lexi Brie, Jerome Johnson, Sicily Mathenia, Jon Rizzo, and Bob Wearing. The four-piece band will feature Ferrell on piano, Jacob Roemer on bass, Tod Barnard on drums, and Nate Nall on Trumpet.
