LISTING INFORMATION
Opening for Head Carpenter - North American Touring Production of STOMP.
Individual will be responsible for shepherding a smooth and safe load-in, performance, and load-out at every venue.
General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Keeping open lines of communication with Production Manager, touring crew, and local crew
• Maintaining the scenery and scenic equipment
• Leading local crews on load-in, performance, and load-out
• Executing show cues as well as changeover and pre/post show duties in a safe, professional and timely manner
Qualified candidates must have an extensive background and relevant expertise in carpentry on tour. Substantial experience in maintaining and repairing production equipment is required. Moreover, applicants must be safety conscious, detail-oriented, organized, and articulate; maintaining a positive, affable disposition while working is critical.
Tour Information
Dates: October 16, 2022 – April 30, 2023
Locations: United States, Mexico
Route: includes one nighters, split-weeks, and week-long stays
Compensation is $1200/week + per diem and single occupancy housing
In accordance with STOMP’s COVID-19 Safety Policy, applicant must be fully vaccinated and have received a booster.
All touring company members must have a passport valid through Nov 2023.
