WOMB 2.0, written by Marisela Treviño Orta and directed by Tatiana Pandiani, is a world premiere set in the near future where childbirth has become a high-stakes gamble due to an undetectable virus. The story follows Claudia, a new recruit at an exclusive birthing clinic designed for the world’s wealthiest expectant mothers. As she tries to maintain the clinic's ultra-secure environment, she faces the challenge of ensuring that nothing goes wrong during the critical nine-month period. This production runs from January 22 to February 7, 2027, at the Alley Theatre.
