ETCHINGS at Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston (MATCH)

Set 25 years after the September 11 terrorist attacks, this original two-person drama follows Sara and Adam, two strangers who meet by chance beside one of the National September 11 Memorial's reflecting pools. Their initially awkward conversation about family, loss, and remembrance gradually reveals the deeply personal burdens each has carried for decades. The play stars Lizzy Cooper as Sara and Matthew Phillip Nuñez as Adam, with Cortney Hafner and Chad Rodenberger reading stage directions and serving as understudies. Written and directed by Christopher Grum, the staged reading will be followed by a post-show talkback.
