The centennial of LHistoire du Soldat shines with an original translation from the French and staging by Todd Farley with a new team of Hawaiian translators. Eight Tresemble musicians perform with University of Hawai'i actors and dancers, who play the roles of Koa (soldier), Kepal (devil), Mea hai Olelo (the narrator), and ke Kamliiwahine (the princess) in this timeless sold my soul to the devil tale. This event is presented by Chamber Music Hawaii, the state's oldest presenter of local, professional chamber musicians.
