Put on a mask. Take your seat. The lights are going down on Broadway's darker, wilder side.

Tony Award winner Lauren Patten, the breakout star of Jagged Little Pill, comes to the Historic Iao Theater for one night only, an evening of Broadway, rock and soul with a mask over its face.

She isn't coming alone. Sharing the stage with her are some of Maui's finest singers, the voices that fill this island's stages all year long, backed by a live band of some of the best musicians on the island.

That's the whole idea behind Broadway on Maui. Bring the magic here, so Maui doesn't have to get on a plane to experience it, and put Maui's own musicians, singers and performers on that stage beside the artists who make it, because they belong there. A Night at the Masquerade is where the series begins.

ABOUT LAUREN PATTEN

Lauren Patten (she/her) was the breakout star of the musical Jagged Little Pill, for which she won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, as well as the Grammy and Drama Desk Awards. She most recently starred on Broadway as Suzanna in the critically acclaimed revival of Becky Shaw at Second Stage. Other stage credits include Fun Home on Broadway, and the off-Broadway productions of The Counterfeit Opera (Little Island), The Lonely Few (MCC), The Wolves (Playwrights' Realm; Drama Desk and Obie Awards), and Days of Rage (Second Stage). On television, Lauren starred in the Hulu original series Death and Other Details and is known for her work on Blue Bloods (CBS), The Good Fight (Paramount+), and Succession (HBO). She is currently featured on the new hit series Off Campus (Amazon).

As a musician, Lauren has performed at a variety of iconic New York venues, including Carnegie Hall, Sony Hall, Tavern on the Green, Town Hall, Mercury Lounge, and Rockwood Music Hall. She has also held concerts at A.C.T. of CT in Ridgefield and the Gogue Performing Arts Center at Auburn University and was a featured performer at the inaugural Broadway Festival this summer. Her EP covers, featuring innovative arrangements of rock, soul, and pop classics, is available on all streaming platforms.
