The Frozen Ones is a poignant drama by Stella Ferra, directed by Amy Marie Seidel, that explores complex themes of memory, grief, and the passage of time. On the eve of his 59th birthday, Robert makes the life-altering decision to unfreeze his wife Marian, who has been cryogenically preserved due to a degenerative disease. As they grapple with their past and the impact of a 30-year age gap, a mysterious knocking forces them to confront the remnants of their lives and love. This performance will be part of the inaugural Next Wave Festival at the Gulfshore Playhouse, which showcases new theatrical voices.
