Million Dollar Quartet

Book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux

Original Concept and Direction by Floyd Mutrux

Inspired by the music of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins

October 19 - January 1, 2017

Million Dollar Quartet is the high voltage Tony Award-winning Broadway musical inspired by the famous photo and phenomenal true story of the famed recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the first and only time in their careers. On December 4, 1956, these four young musicians were gathered together by Sam Phillips, the "Father of Rock 'n' Roll," at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the most electrifying jam and storytelling sessions of all time. Million Dollar Quartet brings the heart and soul of that legendary night to life with an irresistible tale of excitement and passion, featuring 21 timeless hits including "Blue Suede Shoes," "Sixteen Tons," "Great Balls of Fire," "I Walk the Line," "Fever," "Hound Dog" and more.

Carousel

Music by Richard Rodgers

Book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II

Based on the play Liliom by Ferenc Molnar as adapted by Benjamin F. Glazer

February 1 - 26, 2017

The Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Carousel is a powerful ride of hope and tears. With stunning choreography and breathtaking music, Carousel was Rodgers and Hammerstein's personal favorite of all their musicals, and was dubbed "the best musical of the 20th Century by Time Magazine. From the magical evocation of the carousel in the overture to the majestic and moving strains of the immortal song "You'll Never Walk Alone," this giant of the musical stage remains timeless and star bright. The poignant and heartbreaking story of the faithful Julie and her brutish husband Billy is one of the most powerful books in musical theatre history and perfectly matches its extraordinary score with the memorable songs "If I Loved You," "June is Bustin' out All Over," and Billy Bigelow's famous "Soliloquy."

All The Way

By Robert Schenkkan

March 22 - April 9, 2017

This 2014 winner of the Tony Award for Best Play portrays President Lyndon B. Johnson's efforts to maneuver members of the 88th United States Congress, and civil rights leaders including Martin Luther King, Jr., to support and enact the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Featuring a large cast and being presented on the Mainstage at the Miracle Theatre, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Robert Schenkkan's absorbing drama, set during the tense first year of Johnson's presidency following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, is in constant motion about LBJ and his style. All The Way is about the morality and power of politics taking its name from the 1964 campaign slogan, "All the Way with LBJ." Variety says All The Way is a "jaw-dropping political drama."

It Shoulda Been You

Book and lyrics by Brian Hargrove

Music by Barbara Anselmi

May 17 - June 4, 2017

Audiences are cordially invited to the wedding of the year, and the most entertaining and hysterically funny musical comedies to come direct from Broadway to Miami. The bride is Jewish. The groom is Catholic. Her mother is a force of nature; his mother is a tempest in a cocktail shaker. And when the bride's ex-boyfriend shows up, the perfect wedding starts to unravel faster than one could whistle, "here comes the bride." USA Today called it "endearingly old-fashioned in spirit and decidedly contemporary in execution."
