A poverty-stricken Baron needs to marry off his daughters to a rich man and so the stepsisters are carted off to a ball while neglected Cinderella is forced to stay home and clean. But who is that beauty that appears at the party and makes the prince forget all else? La Cenerentola is a sparkling romp based on the age-old fable.
