10 AM – Equity Female Singers 510 Eighth Avenue, Studio 16E

12 PM – Equity Male Singers New York, NY

Bring pop sheet music in the style of The Gipsy Kings or Evita that shows sexuality, passion, and range. Bring sheet music in correct key; accompanist provided but may not transpose.

You may be asked to stay and dance at the ECC dance call in the afternoon, so bring dance clothes; women bring character shoes with a heel and men bring character shoes.

Bring picture and resume, stapled together.

5 PM – Equity Male Dancers New York NY

Please come warmed up and ready to dance. Women bring character shoes with a heel. Men bring character shoes. Be prepared to sing if asked. Bring pop sheet music.

Bring sheet music in correct key; accompanist provided but may not transpose. Bring picture and resume, stapled together.

NOTE: ZORRO takes place in the early 19th Century in a Latin pueblo in California, and also in Spain. The score is a mixture of Latin, flamenco, and Gypsy music. While the show is a great swashbuckling adventure story, it also deals with the complex relationship between two brothers, as well as their culture. NOTE: THE ENSEMBLE PLAYS GYPSIES, SPANIARDS AND LATINOS.

Seeking:

Female Singing Ensemble Who Move Extremely Well and/or Dance

Early 20s to mid 40s. All types, excellent singers. Must be comfortable with Latin and Gypsy style music. Must be extremely passionate and comfortable with their sexuality. ALL VOCAL RANGES. MUST MOVE VERY WELL.

Male Singing Ensemble Who Move Extremely Well and/or Dance

Late 20s to late 30s. All types, excellent singers. Must be comfortable with Latin and Gypsy style music. Must be extremely passionate and comfortable with their sexuality. ALL VOCAL RANGES. MUST MOVE VERY WELL.

Male & Female Dance Ensemble Who Sing Very Well

Early 20s to late 30s. The dancing ensemble plays gypsies, Spaniards and Latinos. Flamenco skills are a major plus. MUST SING VERY WELL.
