ETHNICALLY DIVERSE, Exceptional, Versatile Singers who move well. A sense of humor is mandatory.
The company is expected to be 6 versatile singer-actors who will play multiple roles and sing collectively 22 numbers from Sondheim shows, from the familiar to the obscure.
Originally presented as A STEPHEN SONDHEIM EVENING in 1983, this rarely seen Sondheim review is coming to Brooklyn for the first time since its 1983 NYC debut! This 70-minute hidden gem features familiar and lesser-known songs, some rarely performed, some cut before Broadway, and all for which Sondheim penned both music and lyrics, covering from Saturday Night through Merrily We Roll Along. Like so much of Sondheim, this review is sometimes poignant, sometimes hilarious and always entertaining.

Rehearsals begin Tuesday, September 13 for Thursday, October 13 opening. Rehearsals Tuesday through Friday, 7PM–10PM, Saturday & Sunday, afternoon or evening (varies).
