Equity actors for roles in WHEN WE ARE FOUND. Performers of all races and ethnicities are encouraged to audition.

SYNOPSIS

Two lovers are separated at sea. In search of his lost companion, one man crosses an ocean guided only by his yearning and the coaxing of the wind, sun, moon, and a trickster fish. Love’s newest fable is an achingly poignant and sometimes funny meditation on the passage of time and the persistence of love – a hopeful prayer that what we seek finds us.

NOTE: The characters are Black, male identified or masculine presenting, dance experience or experience of movement of the African diaspora. Comfortable with queer intimacy on stage.

SEEKING:

Man 1: Will also double as The Dirt, The Fish, The Moon, The Sun, and The Found.
Man 2: Will also double as The Seeker.

PREPARATION

Please prepare one contemporary heightened language or poetic monologue. Also, please bring your headshot and resume stapled together.
