Seeking (all roles are available unless otherwise specified):
Marlene:
16, any ethnicity. Hank’s daughter. Torn between her separated parents. Very smart, very confused, she knows her parents are better off apart. She is not easily comforted.
Sheryl:
Late 30s, any ethnicity. Struggling actress, supernumerary with Hank. She is talented but self-sabotaging and screws up auditions. She has a strong outgoing sexuality. She and Hank lean on each other.
Lydia:
40s, any ethnicity. Unemployed writer, coping with the recent death of her father. Obsessive, overwhelmed and socially awkward, she has tendency to over-think things. She’s a virgin.
Hank:
CAST. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible (emergency) replacements, should any become necessary. 40s, any ethnicity. Separated and still in love with his estranged wife. Desperate to connect with his teenage daughter. He is an unemployed economist, currently earning money as a supernumerary. Likable and sad, he fears he’s pathetic.
