This is Nebraska on the brink of something – revolution, oppression, or just a minor local election -- and Francine, the ambitious speech writer for a rich housewife’s vanity campaign, has stumbled upon pure gold: a perfectly patriotic campaign slogan. With it Francine can turn the campaign around and make her ditzy candidate electrifyingly powerful—and finally, just maybe, get herself out of Nebraska. But Francine’s doctor husband, Jeffrey, has misgivings about the magnetic Penny and her campaign.
Place: Present: Multiple locations including campaign office, house, park, doctor’s office, and campaign rally
Any role can be played by any ethnicity. Diversity in casting is preferred.
