PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Please prepare a song of your choice from the contemporary musical theater repertoire (with your own accompaniment). Alternately, you may sing an excerpt from SONGS FROM A NEW WORLD. Sheet music, teaching tracks, and accompaniment tracks for these four roles are accessible at: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/j8u2zjeclhxqh5k/AABOwsrmtUubb_iYtYWcMO4Na?dl=0 (There are choices in Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Baritone Ranges.)
SEEKING: A diverse cast of performers of all ethnicities, races and gender identities for an outdoor production of Songs for a New World. Actors who play any of the following instruments should highlight that information on their resume: piano / guitar/ violin/ viola/ cello/ bass/ drums / percussion.
MAN 1: Commanding and passionate vocal pop powerhouse with incredible upper range. Tenor, D3-C5. Ages 18-40.
MAN 2: Charming and compelling leading actor with strong voice. Baritone, F2-Ab4. Ages. 30-55.
WOMAN 1: Smart and vulnerable ingenue with stunning pop vocals. Soprano, G3-F5. Ages 18-35.
WOMAN 2: Character actor with great comedic timing, dramatic capabilities and strong voice. Alto/Belter, F3-F5. Ages 35-65.
NOTE: Director may expand cast size and split tracks for this production
