Myrtle
Female 30s. An overweight woman who also happens to be very pretty. Has an office job in NYC. Easily hurt.
Terry
Female 30s. Myrtle’s older sister. Overweight. Heavier than Myrtle and very aware of it. Probably an office manager in a small city in Ohio.
Darnell
Male 30s – 40s. A very overweight man. Chipper and cheerful. Successful in his field; works from home, and expensive condo overlooking the river in Minneapolis. Accepting of his weight.
April
Female late 20s – early 30s. Boot camp coach. More skinny than athletic; she’s technically a “skinny fat person” and hates it. If she was a guy, people would call her a hard-ass, but she’s not, so they call her a bitch. Good at her job.
Brian:
Male late 20s – early 30s) Boot camp coach. That incredibly gorgeous guy who everone simultaneously wants to be around and is afraid to be around. Probably on the muscle-bound side as opposed to the slim side. Not the sharpest nail in the box, but not dumb. Good at his job.
Not-Terry
Female 30s. She’s not Terry. Thinner than Terry or Myrtle, but still not thin. More comfortable with herself.
