BREAKDOWN
Some roles will be understudied.
The Lion
Directors: Sean Daniels and Alex Stenhouse
Rehearsals: September 13-18, 2022
Tech: September 20-23, 2022
Performances: September 24 – November 6, 2022
Seeking:
This show has been cast.
The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley
Director: Veronika Duerr
Rehearsals: October 11 – 30, 2022
Tech: November 1-4, 2022
Performances: November 5 – December 23, 2022
Seeking:
MRS. REYNOLDS – Late 50s, early 60s – the housekeeper at Pemberley, knows all and sees all, has been on staff since Darcy was a child, a mother figure to the household.
BRIAN – A footman, brilliant mind, in love with technology and inventions, sincere and earnest.
CASSIE – The new housemaid, a village girl, an orphan who came from less than nothing. The opportunity to work at Pemberley means security she has never had, and she takes this job very seriously. She is sometimes maybe too eager, a bit headstrong.
MR. FITZWILLIAM DARCY – Master of Pemberley.
MRS. ELIZABETH DARCY – Mistress of Pemberley.
GEORGE WICKHAM – Grew up at Pemberley, son of the former steward, once a soldier, has been in and out of trouble (of his own making) his whole life.
LYDIA WICKHAM – A bright, warm, and charming personality, if sometimes a bit much, married too young to Mr. Wickham.
The Glass Menagerie
Director: Chanel Bragg
Rehearsals: December 20, 2022 – January 15, 2023
Tech: January 17-20, 2023
Performances: January 21 – March 5, 2023
Seeking:
AMANDA WINGFIELD – The mother. A little woman of great but confused vitality clinging frantically to another time and place. Her characterization must be carefully created, not copied from type. She is not paranoiac, but her life is paranoia. There is much to admire in Amanda, and as much to love and pity as there is to laugh at. Certainly, she has endurance and a kind of heroism, and though her foolishness makes her unwittingly cruel at times, there is tenderness in her slight person.
LAURA WINGFIELD – Amanda's daughter. Amanda, having failed to establish contact with reality, continues to live vitally in her illusions, but Laura’s situation is even graver. A childhood illness has left her crippled, one leg slightly shorter than the other, and held in a brace. This defect need not be more than suggested on the stage. Stemming from this, Laura’s separation increases till she is like a piece of her own glass collection, too exquisitely fragile to move from the shelf.
TOM WINGFIELD – Amanda's son. And the narrator of the play. A poet with a job in a warehouse. His nature is not remorseless, but to escape from a trap he has to act without pity.
JIM O’CONNOR – The gentleman caller. A nice, ordinary, young man.
Pru Payne
Director: Sean Daniels
Rehearsals: February 7 – 26, 2023
Tech: February 28 - March 3, 2023
Performances: March 4 – April 16, 2023
Seeking:
PRU PAYNE – Late 60s. Public Intellectual, good breeding. Exacting, charming, charismatic, intimidating. A WASP and, at times, waspish.
THOMAS PAYNE – Early 30s. Smart, reticent, sensitive. Shares Pru’s patrician manner of speaking—on him it can sound quasi-British. Character is half African American.
GUS CUDAHY – Late 60s. Custodial Engineer, thick Massachusetts accent. Prideful, jocular, handy, unschooled, intuitive. Laconic New Englander but jovial.
ART CUDAHY – Early 30s. Chip off the ol’ block, same accent. Tough jock-type but lovable, with a latent poetic side.
DR. DOLAN – 40. Nerdy, dry humor can seem prim because she aims for scientific detachment—but she has an emotional intelligence that makes her well-rounded. Any race.
The White Chip
Director: Sheryl Kaller
Rehearsals: March 21 – April 9, 2023
Tech: April 11 - 14, 2023
Performances: April 15 – May 28, 2023
Seeking:
#1 – (Any age, any race, female) is helping STEVEN to tell the story and doubles as all the women in the piece.

The Legend of Georgia McBride
Director: Meredith McDonough
Rehearsals: May 9 – 28, 2023
Tech: May 30 – June 2, 2023
