Stage managers for companies of ADA TWIST: SCIENTIST AND FRIENDS and EL OTRO OZ
This is a touring production. Actors and Stage managers drive themselves by company car & van to theaters and schools. Full company participates in load-in and load-out every day. Company is generally in a different city each day.
Operating under the Actors’ Equity TWUSA Contract, our stage managers function as the main contact and liaison while out on the road for our office and various venues. Stage managers are responsible for all technical elements, advancing, and logistics for the production.
Full touring company includes the SM and 5-6 Actor/ASMs. Productions do not have a dedicated, non-acting ASM during rehearsals or performances.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Traditional Stage Management duties as outlined in the AEA-TWUSA agreement
Scheduling the daily calls based on the itinerary supplied
Contacting venues to advance each scheduled performance
Reporting to the office daily
Maintaining all Actors’ Equity TWUSA Contract rules and reporting overtime
Operating the sound and mixing each performance, calling light cues
Submit and code credit card, debit card, and petty cash receipts via online portal
Managing the hotel check in, check out, and any hotel issues that arise onsite.
