The Young Woman:
Woman, early to mid 30s. The younger version of Older Woman (Karen Allen). Charismatic, she worries easily but tries not to show it. Her marriage is strong, but it's been tricky lately since they are going through big changes. Wants to be close to nature, but scared to get too close. Anxiously awaits return of her husband each time he goes out on the boat.
Asle:
Man, early to mid 30s. The young woman’s husband. Charming and lovable, also mysterious and forever searching for something just outside his grasp. He's restless, and he loves taking his boat out on the water.
