BREAKDOWN

SCHOOLMASTER/UNDERTAKER (open ethnicity, open gender; 40’s-70’s) An upright and uptight sinister Schoolmaster of Ebenezer’s childhood. A fierce disciplinary figure in Ebenezer’s past. UNDERTAKER is a ruthless, worn out business person. Does not mind filth, death, and whatever comes their way in dark and dismal London. Looking for vibrant and unique character types with strong language skills. Roles will use RP dialect.

GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PAST (open ethnicity, female, 20’s-30’s) A spirit that is both young and old. Vibrant and magnetic. Exudes warmth and fierceness. She is perhaps made in FAN’s, Ebenezer’s sister’s, image. Seeking actors with strong physical storytelling and/or dance backgrounds. Must be comfortable in a flying apparatus. Role will use RP dialect.

ENSEMBLE open ethnicity, open gender, 20’s-50’s. Seeking ensemble members to play townspeople, shop keepers, and other smaller roles while understudying onstage tracks, exact roles to be determined. Seeking playful actors with strong language skills. Some roles covered may need to be strong vocalists. Roles will use RP dialect.
