iLuminate To Perform In Kalamazoo On Sept. 29

iLuminate, the innovative entertainment company that electrifies audiences around the globe with its glow-in-the-dark dance and acrobatic shows, will be performing in Kalamazoo, MI, on Sept. 29, 2018, at the Miller Auditorium. Tickets are on sale at

Known as the dance troupe that shot to international fame as finalists on America's Got Talent, iLuminate fuses dance and technology as they perform on a dark stage taking audiences on an action-filled journey of light and sound that truly astounds.

iLuminate tells the story of a group of 20-somethings who dance to the beat of life as they move through a city of glowing colors and heart-pounding tempos. In this world the audience is introduced to the fantastical journey of Jacob, a talented young artist who struggles to connect with the real world. Jacob takes comfort in his magical paintbrush, which grants him the power to turn the characters of his imagination into living, breathing creatures. But when a jealous townsperson steals the paintbrush and turns his creations into horrifying monsters, Jacob must face these dangers alone and fight to save his town and his friends.

The spectacular family-friendly production features a cast performing an array of dance styles ranging from contemporary to popping to breaking, set to popular and classic hits by Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, James Brown, Janet Jackson, LMFAO, The Wanted and Sam Smith on a completely dark stage. Cast members wear glow-in-the-dark suits that are controlled by patented wireless lighting programs to create specialized and choreographed dances and illusions.

"We have fantastic new elements planned for our fall tour shows," said Miral Kotb, creator and founder of iLuminate. "We've added an interactive game scene in which audience members can participate in the live stage show to help solve the puzzle that rescues our main characters. It's the best time you can have in the dark!"

iLuminate stars Daniel Amoros, Lisa Bauford, Matthew Dobbins, Daphne Driscoll, Lucia Joyce, Bryan Longchamp, Timara Melchor, Simon Mendoza, and Charles Way.
