Tickets to Midland Center for the Arts' 2014-15 Season Now On Sale

Tickets to more than 30 performing arts events at Midland Center for the Arts go on sale to the public beginning at noon on August 11. Events take place at Midland Center for the Arts, 1801 West Saint Andrews Road, Midland. Tickets can be purchased at www.mcfta.org or by contacting the Ticket Office at 989-631-8250 or 800-523-7649.

MCFTA's 43rd season kicks off September 20 with the opening night of Center Stage Theatre's "Shrek The Musical," the hilarious story of everyone's favorite ogre, featuring the big laughs you expect and a terrific score of 19 all-new songs. It's part romance, part twisted fairy tale and all irreverent fun for every age!

Other season highlights include: "American Girl Fashion Show" on October 11 and 12; Lyle Lovett and his Acoustic Group on October 25; Peanut Gallery's "Holes" on November 7 through 9; Center Stage Choirs' "A Musical Mosaic" on November 15; MSO's "Cherish the Ladies" on December 6; "Much Ado About Nothing" February 6 through 15; "Rain - A Tribute to the Beatles" on February 25; Center Stage Choir's "Broadway Showstoppers on April 25; and Peanut Gallery's "Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse" on June 11 through 14.

Also available is a "Pick 4+ Pricing" that offers savings of up to 20% over single ticket prices on a wide variety of events. Information on these and other season offerings are available online at www.mcfta.org or in the new season brochure, which will be arriving in mailboxes throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region starting August 1, and will also be available at the Center.
