Marriage after 12 years can get a little boring. When a marriage counselors suggest a couple role play their favorite characters from a play they figure it might add some excitement to their daily routine. Everything is wonderful at first. However, sometimes too much of a good thing, is bad. ***~~~*** "That's Not Ketchup: Role Play Gone Wrong", written by Winnie Wenglewick and performed by Winnie and Evan Glaser, was supposed to open at Dangerous Theatre in March before heading to the Orlando Fringe Theatre Festival in May. Then.... COVID. ***~~~*** Like many small theatres, Dangerous Theatre realized it would need to move into the realm of streaming and live streaming shows if it is to survive this pandemic. Winnie & Evan decided to rehearse apart then video tape the show to stream on demand. Filming in the theatre sounded like an echo chamber. So they decided to film at Winnie Wenglewick's home (Owner of Dangerous Theatre and in the show). The entire show takes place in a kitchen anyway. ***~~~*** No, this isn't a holiday show. However, we would consider it a gift to the theatre thought if you purchased a ticket to see the show. The show runs just over an hour. We have a sliding scale for ticket prices from $10 - $25. Thank you for supporting theatre during this pandemic. Please also check out our website for other streaming shows, including some live stream shows for the holidays. www.dangeroustheatre.com
