Valarie: A Puppet Show by Blue Silk Productions at The Studio Loft at Ellie Caulkins Opera House

Blue Silk Productions presents Valarie, a new theatrical puppet show created by multidisciplinary artists Cinco, Katy Williams, Johnny Bartlett, Kit Mathews, and Bryse Taylor. In the story, a cherished dog disappears into Colorado's wilds, pulling Valarie into a neighboring world with its own logic, told through handmade puppets, choreography, lighting, projections, and sound. The work explores displacement, belonging, and shifting meanings of home through fantastic beings and unstable realities. It was developed during a residency at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts' Arts Complex Creates: New Works Incubator.
