LUNAR FIRE ALBUM RELEASE PARTY Comes to Fox Theatre 12/15
by BWW News Desk - September 26, 2017
LUNAR FIRE, based in denver colorado, takes audiences to new heights with spectacular dance and musical performances. Pre-Columbian flutes, multilingual vocalists, powerful drummers and a wide range of bass and guitar styles tell stories reflected in dance. Aerialists fly, drop from the sky, crawl into a cocoon and emerge a warrior, a nature spirit, an animal guide. Multiple dancers meld into one multi armed being, circle, battle and burn fire in the form of dreamcatchers, antlers, machetes, staff, torches, ropes, multi poi, fans, fireflies and other surprises. Paintings come to life mysteriously hovering in the air. These mystic images by visionary painters MARTINA HOFFMANN, ROBERT VENOSA, STEVON LUCERO and ADAM FU twist and bend under the movement of dance, a very enchanting and psychedelic visual effect.

by Emilee Hatfield - September 21, 2017
After hearing that very line for years, you would think I would have picked up a copy or have listened to A Chorus Line by now. As silly as this sounds I didn't. JUSTIN MARTIN'S HALLOWEEN MASQUERADE Comes to Boulder Theater 10/31
by BWW News Desk - September 18, 2017
As the late Oscar Wilde once said: life is too important to be taken seriously , an ethos that Justin Martin is sticking with despite achieving soaring success over the last six years as a producer and international DJ. Justin initially pricked the ears of the electronic music community in 2003 with his first record The Sad Piano? on Ben Watt?s Buzzin? Fly label. Everyone in the electronic music food chain got involved, from the A list DJs like Derrick Carter and Pete Tong that were playing the track, to the international music press that were raving about it. It even translated to the German underground, with Poker Flat licensing it for Steve Bug?s Bugnology? compilation. Like someone that goes bowling for the first time and gets five strikes and a turkey, Justin couldn?t really have hoped for a better entrance.
