About this studio
Touch Dancing is a ballroom dance studio based in Westhampton Beach on Long Island, New York, with the tagline 'Real Dancing for Real People'. It is open to the public and welcomes singles and couples of all ages, and partners are not required for classes. Teaching covers smooth, Latin and disco programs: Argentine tango, American tango, waltz, Viennese waltz, foxtrot, milonga, Peabody, polka and quickstep; bolero, bachata, cha cha, cumbia, merengue, paso doble, rumba, samba, salsa-mambo and pachi-pachi; and country western, East Coast and West Coast swing, hustle, Lindy, line dances, lambada and freestyle. Group classes run weekly at the Bridgehampton Community House, with private and semi-private lessons available anytime, wedding dance instruction, private parties and lessons across Long Island and Manhattan. The studio also produces the Touch Dancing television show, broadcast on Manhattan and Long Island cable and online with free dance lessons each Saturday.
