About this studio
The Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance is home to the Martha Graham Dance Company and the Martha Graham School, based at 1501 Broadway in New York City, where it opened a new Times Square center with six studios. The Graham School is the oldest professional school of dance in the United States and the only one primarily focused on the Martha Graham Technique and repertory; its faculty are current or former company members. Teaching covers Graham Technique, ballet and contemporary, through a youth program for ages 4 to 17, adult and open classes, summer intensives, and full-time pre-professional tracks. The school is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Dance.
