About this studio
The Evergreen Ballroom is a social dance venue and school at 6088 Crater Lake Avenue in Central Point, Oregon, owned by Bill and Marilee Grimm. Beginning classes are open to drop-ins and no partner is required: the Monday beginning ballroom class runs in three-week sessions and the Thursday beginning belly dance class in seven-week sessions, with new students advised to start at the beginning of a session. Other offerings listed include Argentine tango on Monday mornings, a beginning ballet/jazz class, swing, Latin and country western line dancing. The ballroom hosts regular dance parties, including a fourth-Friday Latin dance night and a Golden Years ballroom party for ages 50 and over, along with showcases, a ladies performance group and the Southern Oregon Youth Ballroom Competition. Gift certificates are available.
