About this studio
Boston Ballet is a non-profit ballet company and school led by artistic director Mikko Nissinen, performing a season at the Citizens Opera House that includes The Nutcracker, Coppelia and Cinderella. Boston Ballet School teaches classical ballet at studios in Boston, Newton, Brighton and Brookline and at the Walnut Hill School for the Arts. School-year tracks are Preparatory for ages 16 months to 6, Foundations for ages 7 to 9, Classical Ballet for ages 10 to 18, Adaptive Dance for ages 2 and up, Adult Dance for ages 16 and up, and a Professional Division and Graduate Program. Summer offerings include camps for ages 2 to 17 and intensives for ages 9 to 18. The school also runs the Citydance community program and student performances.
