About this studio
The Ballroom Dance Company is a partner-dance studio at 8936 SW 17th Avenue in Portland, Oregon, offering ballroom, Latin and swing instruction to singles and couples. Lessons are taught by Sunnie Page, who has more than 40 years of experience and works with dancers of all levels around each student's individual goals. The studio advertises no long-term obligations or contracts: students book and pay for one lesson at a time, at a flat rate for a 45-minute private lesson whether taken individually or as a couple, by advance reservation during daytime hours. Styles taught include waltz, swing, East Coast swing, nightclub, tango, merengue, quickstep, cha cha, foxtrot, salsa and rumba, with nightclub and rumba most often chosen for a wedding first dance.
