About this studio
The Ballet Spot is an adult-oriented ballet and fitness studio in two cities: at Ripley Grier Studios, 131 W 72nd Street in Manhattan, and in Brentwood at 13050 San Vicente Blvd in Los Angeles, having also run outdoor classes on the beach in Santa Monica. It combines ballet with barre, stretch and Pilates, taught by working professional dancers, and markets a judgement-free approach intended to make classical ballet approachable for beginners. Classes run in studio, by live stream and through an on-demand library. Private instruction is available, and a Stars of Ballet series brings principal and soloist guest instructors for all-levels classes. Booking runs through Arketa.
